expressing a new vision for ‘posco group‘, designers at ‘aworks’ have produced a floating steel cloud structure. located in song-do, in-cheon republic of korea, the new green-building exhibition hall was designed for the korean company, who specialize in steel products and green technology. the interior spaces are divided into two sections, one is known as ‘the green zone’, where media is used to showcase technological advancements, while the other is a ‘show room zone’ for real product samples. the brand’s new identity represents its focus on advanced materials development, helping to reduce co2 emissions. the steel grid employed throughout the space interprets the ongoing relationship between green technology and its users. the module itself may be added to, inserted and reflected across the room, forming a continuous light cloud across the interior.
