local studio CASE-REAL has completed a rooftop lounge entitled ‘skypark’ in the japanese city of fukuoka. the project is the third undertaken by the practice at bar dreieck park, a popular destination for the region’s population. the open-air terrace has been completely renovated, providing the area below with a pleasant external platform for congregation and recreation. a VIP section with karaoke facilities is contained within the roof’s sheltered enclosure, replacing a room previously used for storage. a staggered area of decking is envisioned as a miniature stadium, offering guests a place to sit and relax.
