‘the crown house’ is an architectural proposal by polish firm 81.WAW.PL. its angular, clean-lined form has been envisioned to sit upon a lake and serve as strong juxtaposition to its natural surroundings.

the project by 81.WAW.PL was visualized by 3D artist michal nowak and as the name suggests, the angular roof and its monochromatic contrast serves as definition to highlight its crown-influenced shape. start white walls and sharp lines emphasize the contrast to its context and mountainous background. meanwhile, the two storey interior offers full height-glazing and a bottom level terrace which extends from the building and into the lake. this provides a peaceful respite to its remote location which can be accessed by a private driveway connected to land.
