mexican architect tatiana bilbao has designed a ‘plant housing and cultural center’ located in guadalajara jalisco, mexico. formerly an industrial area the cultural center will include a housing complex, cinemas and workshops. spread over 66 000sqm the building can stand on its own and will use sustainable energy to produce 40% of the energy it requires. construction is due to be completed in 2010.
