‘design miami/ temporary structure’ by aranda/lasch

design miami/ 08 continues to grown in size every year. in anticipation of this growth they have commissioned
a temporary structure designed by aranda\lasch. the new structure will be located in miami’s design district
and is tailor made for the event. being called the ‘design miami/ temporary structure’, this building will house
a number of the international design galleries showing work at this year’s event. the design pushes the
boundaries of temporary tent architecture. it is very tall and lets plenty of daylight in, allowing each gallery to
have more room to work with. based on its success, it may just become a permanent fixture at the annual
event in miami.
