‘freipost headquarters’ by ITN architectsfront view

purchased as a nondescript 1950s warehouse on a backstreet in australia by international courier company freipost, the space was then converted into an office by inserting a double curved central ‘street’ of exposed stud framing with ply or glass infill panels. designed by ITN architects, the project presents sweeping curves that break the rigidity of the rectangular space, with predominant ply packing cases appropriate for the nature of the business. signature ‘freipost red’ colorway was used for highlights throughout, and the front facade was presented as a 3D company logo.
