the construction by gangoly & kristiner architekten is comprised of a main house that separates into four annexes which were formally different farm buildings. the old barn has been adapted into a garage and storage, meanwhile the stable buildings have now been re-programmed as a guest and pool house. taking on a traditional archetypal form, the pitched roof volumes have been constructed using a combination of timber siding and brick, while the ground level features expansive glazing making the exterior environment feel a part of the house.

the richness of the property lies in the character of its detailing illustrated through material and form, which has been used in a way that maximizes their aesthetic and functional properties. the spacious interior constantly looks out into the expansive countryside. the communal programs have been organized on the lower floors, while the bedrooms are located on the second level and set within the pitched roof form.
