instanbul-based firm geoID have recently won the award for ‘best hotel interior design award’ for their refurbishment project of the ‘maxx royal kemer resort and spa‘ in the antalya province. exuding luxury and complimented with a multiplicity of facilities, the resort is sited along the turkish coast at the foot of a rocky headland and adjacent to a long stretch of sandy beach.

illustrated through detail, decoration and organic patterns throughout, the interiors display a series of themes that reflect the four elements of nature: water (azure), bronze (earth), air (emerald), and fire (tangerine). this feature is seen everywhere from the wallpaper, bedsheets, menus and staff uniform.
