the extension of the granada science park in granada, spain was design by carlos ferrater and jimenez brasa
architects near the genil river. the building is appear like a large volume from above, with inflections for its
various parts. each ‘program container’ holds a specific exhibition or function and the space connecting them
is used for the park’s administration. the design allows for a wide variety of programming flexibility. looking at
the building from a distance, the roof’s form echoes the granada mountains behind it. this topographic idea
was a key part of the architect’s design and the skylights that it permits bath the interior with natural light.
