the interior design of the ‘vodafone customer experience center’ by IO studio was created for product presentation purposes. the platform allows the company’s clients to receive a personalized and tailored tour that reflects their individual needs and provides them with a ‘know-how’ portfolio of the telecommunication devices and services.

the enclosing surfaces operate in relation to the ground floor fuel cafe of the brand’s czech republic headquarters. the entities are separated by a glass wall, which simultaneously prevents physical contact, but develops a visual dialogue. this relationship is enhanced by two openings that are the main conceptual elements of artistic intention.

as the company plans to move its offices into an administration complex in another part of prague, it was necessary for the center to be mobile. this has resulted in a adaptable module, with an assembly capable of being transferred within five working days. the components were manufactured following the specifications of its complex metal construction. they were first composed in relation to their size in the factory, and then were fit together piece by piece in the final location.

the peripheral shape is the result of a 60mm diameter steel tube while the rest of the ribs were created with a 25x25mm steel jackel. subsequently, the geometry was divided into segments using aluminum moldings used for the stretching of barrisol foil. this material provided the color combination of red and white in accordance with the branding standards of the business.

starting from the showroom, which is highlighted by a series of products, customers are led into the relaxation zone. eventually, they are intuitively lured past the ‘organic walls’ towards the entrance towards the main of the reception occurs at the central ‘OneNet’ object. here, visitors sense a slow transition between the constraints of the real world and the evocative cyberspace universe created by vodafone. this feeling is increased by the original and custom-tailored furniture. the firm says, ‘this object, due to the constructional design, has a relatively large size as is close to the sisze a larger gardne summer house or small building. this is why it is classified in the category of architecture. this is what we hope will become an example of a standard office space’.
