zheng xie’s ‘misty bamboo on a distant mountain’ served as the basis for keng yu design office’s exhibition space for the sixth edition of creative expo taiwan. recreating the artistic piece through architecture, the design unrolls like a long scroll, inviting viewers into a serene ambience that captures the essence of taiwan.

a variety of homeware/ lifestyle products are presented, most located in a series of small areas that progress down either side of the space. the central corridor is reserved for the presentation of the main artistic concept. here, bamboo plants, polypropylene hollow sheets — used to create a visual effect similar to mist — and a plethora of teas are combined into the cultural essence of taiwan.
