OFIS architects: four leaf clover kindergarten

‘four leaf clover kindergarten’ is a design proposal by slovenian firm OFIS architects. each leaf represents one department with associated facilities. the entrance leads to the central part with the common areas, which are positioned and distributed in three floors: a ground floor with the main entrance and outdoor central common playgrounds for additional activities, the first floor with administration/offices and underground level with kitchen, services and technical areas.

the material, structure and cladding are all natural produced in the local area. the structure of the building is simple  and uses reinforced concrete cores with brick and wooden fillings.
