an array of outdoor objects, structures and furniture have been placed along the water edge and surrounding green areas by konakovo river club in russia and conceived by peter kostelov and contributing designer alexey rozenberg. the location- a popular destination for families to go and stay in the hotel or rent a villa, predominantly promotes water-based activities. the project focuses on providing versatile and utilitarian forms resulting in the diverse series which includes standard benches, lighting, shelters, along with communal showers, a rescue tower and beach cabanas- all sharing the same base materials of a steel frame composed of a siberian larch cladding, giving the range a clear and consistent identity.

the concept uses typical outdoor furniture and explores the merging of their functionalities to create new multifunctional forms; a single bench can be seen with its own integrated lamp allowing night time reading. simultaneously, the compact garden pavilions and the beach cabanas are examples of larger structures that have been adapted to their context, providing shelter and protection from the weather meanwhile understatedly blending with the natural scenery.
