the underlying concept of angelo renna and cécile-diama sambs’ is simple; to bring people together. ‘rock together’, is a temporary structure that incorporates a few base elements that are then left to be used and interpreted however the users feel fit. depending on the season, activities can happen inside or outside the wrinkled concrete form. during summer months it can function as a climbing wall — its principle characteristic — or a gathering point to sunbath around. meanwhile, it’s interior can be used as an observatory or small information kiosk.
