shared housing is an installation by KUU that is a proposal for a new type of residence for the burgeoning urban centers of china. the dwellings would be composed of a mix of 3m x 3m interconnected rooms. they would be constructed to house three inhabitants to share the space psychologically and pysically at different sclaes through the entry structure’s courtyards, kitchen and small air-wells. the installation is currently on show at the shenzhen hong kong biennale.
