tu + yo studio has created a concept for a pavilion that serves the purpose of encouraging the local architecture community to promote mexican identity. the pavilion mixes the architectural methods and structures of the pre-columbian civilizations in mexico, with new technology tools like the application of algorithms to create new designs.

knowing that mexico is facing a difficult time, tu + yo studio wants to seek solutions through architecture and they believe that the addition of education, community activities and working on the mexican identity to it could help. this is why the pavilion recreates the essence of its culture by going back to its roots. the design consists of a pendant structure with a wooden skeleton that is later covered with clay, the same way local artisans do it. having a pavilion that reminds the mexican people where they come from, their origins and heritage could help them come together and make a difference.
