‘architecture farm’

influenced by the forms of trees and plants japanese architect akihisa hirata designed ‘architecture farm’. using a fold principle he has created a building that has a large surface area within a limited space. when the simple surface is folded the contained space diverges into a number of parts – the public domain such as the foyer, living room and family room and the private domain that includes bedrooms and a spa.
