for the 11th international venice architecture biennale totan kuzembaev combined two nomadic civilizations to create ‘the nomad’s yurt’. it consists of two objects; the nomad’s yurt and the nomad’s car. inside the yurt is an old car, surrounded by cell phones and laptops that are hung from the walls. each of the objects are not used as they were intended.

the installation aims to make a simple point in order not to become a museum exhibit it is necessary to change and to adjust. at the meeting point of different cultures either a new form can appear, or globalization will equalize them.
