YOD group adds to ukraine hotel resort with chalet 4.0

conceived by YOD group, ‘chalet 4.0’ is part of a hotel resort in ukraine. the development includes a series of newly built residences that have been constructed, surrounded by tall pine trees, within a large forest in the country’s poltava region. instead of a typically solid base, the architecture stands on screw pile foundations, a system that results in a quick installation process.

forming part of relax park verholy, YOD group’s design comprises a centrally positioned shared living space, flanked by two separate bedrooms. all three volumes open onto a terrace, which runs the length of the property. natural materials, such as stone and wood, have been used throughout the design, emphasizing a connection with the natural surroundings. meanwhile, rhythmic veneer lines on the walls symbolize rows of pine trees.

a pathway leads from the dwelling to a swimming pool, set within a wooden deck. an adjacent poolhouse for guests is also provided. YOD design studio has previously completed a pair of timber guest houses as part of the same development.
