‘cephalopodoptera’ by vladimir stankovic

finnish graphic designer vladimir stankovic has created a series of illustrated natural history animated GIFs entitled ‘cephalopodoptera’. the work depicts a new order of fantasy species of insects and mollusks, glimmering and flickering with imagination. the elusive critters are said to live in the deepest underwater caves of oceans worldwide, equipped with the intelligence equal to that of moths and squid. due to this skill, they have remained hidden for centuries and are waiting to be discovered…
