dress created for 'piece of peace' by daisy balloon
image © satoshi minakawa
japanese artist rie hosokai of daisy balloon builds elaborate dresses from the inflated material to create striking haute couture with an unlikely fabric.
the latest fashion piece was constructed as part of 'piece for peace' - a charity art exhibition at parco gallery in tokyo until the 9th of january, 2013 -
in conjunction with a lego dress hosokai made of a similar style. the work was produced through a custom type 'knitting' of white balloons to gradually build a fragile,
but wearable frock, immaculately captured through the art direction of hosokai's partner takashi kawada.

This design will let many girls heart yearning, looks very immortal, out of the ordinary, let us work together to do a flying dream princess.
Rather dangerous dresses. What if someone were to have something very sharp? I hope those girls would have something on underneath those dresses.

I was inspired by this collection. I would love to introduce to people from all over the world on my blog it it’s possible. I think it would be wonderful if everyone remembers Japanese designer.
