‘cell’ – bubble art photography by tomoya matsuuraimage © tomoya matsuura

using bubbles and thread, japanese artist tomoya matsuura creates an ephemeral world of highly detailed organic sculptures in a photographic delivery. entangled in the threads like a fragment of the microscopic world, the bubbles appear to resemble magnified cells from a reproductive system. matsuura’s work, entitled ‘cells’, expresses the vigor of life, showcasing the transparent volumes as if they were on the verge of incubating.
