from scaffolding-like structures to twisting towers, french artist jeremy laffon builds teetering complex structures with the most
peculiar material - chewing gum. sticks and sticks of the minty green material are stacked, piled and assembled in various ways -
each work seemingly unstable, slowly slumping to the surrender of gravity - even coaxed by the heat of a torch. the work channels
elements of ambivalence, the ephemeral and metamorphosis through a visual dialogue only able to be generated by the unusual
substance it is made from. lafonn will be showcasing his work at the association limousin art contemporain and sculptures in
france from the 12th through to the 23rd of march, 2013

The spirals are the best stuff here.
Creatively inspiring.
