designboom has been following hong yi (red)‘s ’31 days of creativity with food’ project, whereby the malaysian artist develops a new food art piece each day for the month of march, posting her resulting works on instagram. week 1 saw red recreate edvard munch’s ‘the scream’ with prosciutto and bread crusts, and hakusa’s ‘tsunami’ with rice and seaweed. in week two, banksy’s ‘maid in london’ was served up with nori and apple, and dogs were sculpted out of oreo creme. now in her third week, she tells the story of the ‘three little pigs’ with in an unlikely culinary combination of spaghetti, bread sticks and soy sauce.
