in celebration of valentines day, paul stolper gallery in london present ‘love’, a pop-up exhibition of new damien hirst prints and sculptural editions. ‘love is a beautiful thing and I see it as a small antidote to all the horror in the world’, hirst says about the exhibition focusing exclusively on the theme.

the exhibition includes a collection of heart prints each foil blocked with a single butterfly. eight of the hearts that comprise ‘love gold’ are silkscreened, while six made with gold leaf. hirst’s ‘love gold’ marks an introductions to the series, of which the second, ‘love silver’, will be released in june 2015. this edition will include eight silkscreen prints in colors different to those of ‘love gold’ and six prints in silver leaf, each foil blocked with a single butterfly. two love heart pill sculptures ‘♡yu4eva’, and ‘love struck’, are also included in the exhibition, as well as a heart pierced by a crossbow bolt suspended in a sweet jar.
