as the good-natured, wildly-popular american sitcom ‘the fresh prince of bel-air’ celebrates the 25th anniversary since airing its first episode, artist leland foster teamed up with online retailer lyst to bring us a contemporary look at what the banks family would look like in 2015. will, carlton, uncle phil, hilary, geoffrey and ashley are brought to life in the present day, donning apple watches, google glass, kindles and iPhones to match their kenzo and moschino clothes. the uncanny digital portraits offer a nostalgic and humorous glimpse at the former favorite TV figures reimagined in the high-tech and high-fashion world they never knew.
