‘herbert’s dream’ or ‘rêve d’herbert’ is an adaptable performance show that travels to various towns around europe by french collective compagnie des quidams with the next show to be presented in saint-raphaël, france on the 29th of december, 2012. step by step, a group of characters are transformed into voluminous 4 metre-high figures on stilts – gradually inflating their costumes into billowing masses. the elusive creatures dance to the story of lone star, accompanied by bewitching music to evoke the enchanting stir of a dream.
