puerto rican artist lionel cruet materializes the cloud in his immersive installation, ‘espacio intangible’ (intangible space). conceived as a metaphor for the highly complex system and interconnected networks of digital storage, the work retrieves and visualizes data through sight and sound. ‘espacio intangible’ takes place within a small, mobile storage container with integrated video projection and sound. the project also aims to be a physical manifestation of memory — posing use of the cloud as a plausible replacement of individual recollection.
