luce pelletier explores human identity in wallpaper sculpture series

visual artist luce pelletier investigates notions of human character in her latest series, ‘identity paper’. the sculptural works utilize wallpaper sourced from an abandoned home in quebec’s charlevoix region. joined masterfully, the ephemeral pieces serve as a veritable celebration of nature and life, producing effects strange, surreal, and beautiful in the process. ‘identity paper’ is a body of work bound to deteriorate, and thus creates a unique perspective to explore the essence of our temporary nature.
