satisfying sweet tooths and type buffs, italian artist massimo gammacurta has rendered all 26 letters of the ‘eat me’ alphabet from vibrantly colored sculpted candy. each semi-opaque, sans-serif letter bears the drips, smears and wildly spiraling hues of mixed molten materials, hardened into solid form and photographed from above. the uppercase confections are arranged as pollock-like compositions and morphed into a functional block font, with ombre shifting blues, greens, reds and pinks undulating in waves around the outline of the typeface. take a look at a few of our favorite letters from the series, below.
