in preparation of the quickly-approaching halloween holiday, los angeles photographer christine mcconnell has transformed her parents’ house into a monster of epic proportions. mcconnell has carefully cut large scale teeth and eyes from foam core boards and painted the forms with a hauntingly hyper-realistic quality. unsuspecting trick-or-treaters enter the residence through a sharp set of pointed fangs that line the porch, while eight bloodshot, purple eyes survey the situation from overhead. by night, a spooky green glow subtly illuminates the home, casting an eerie, supernatural light on halloween-ready home.
