melbourne-born and london-based hyperrealist sculptor ron mueck has developed an exhibition of his recent works for hauser + wirth gallery
in london, england. this major solo exhibition includes ‘drift’, ‘still life’, ‘youth’ and ‘women with sticks’. his artistic career began as puppeteer,
his appreciation of theatricality and augmented reality is made evident in the storytelling approach observed in his body of work. the collection
assembled for hauser + wirth brings together elements of myth and folklore as well as the incognizability of mortality.
