dundee-based illustrator sam lyon has visualized a strange series of gifs called ‘jelly gummies‘, which — as their name suggests — makes mushsy motion graphics out of contorted faces and kooky creatures. the amorphous forms animate, absorbing and sinking within themselves and morphing into irregular anatomies. both anthropomorphic and indistinct at the same time, lyon mutates the shapeless characters into ‘cascading stone faces’, ‘pink juicy worms’ and ‘pillow sprite’ gyrating gifs.
