'face no. 9' by christian weber

new york-based filmmaker and photographer christian weber is well-known for challenging society's archetypal idea of beauty through the power of image.
he has now released his monographic book 'selected works, volume one' - a documentation of his eclectic artwork spanning celebrated rappers, rockers and actors,
mysterious explosions amidst hyper-real and macabre portraiture. the work is confronting, raw, formidable and thoughtful -
each scene using every faculty available to weber to create the image, drawing from the subject and environment in the most acute way.
the book is available from dashwood books online and in store.
