‘conduction’ is a series of bubble art photographs by japanese artist tomoya matsuura that explores the concept of macro and micro sizes. seeking to express the variations that exist in the universe, nature, life and the small particle, which is the world, the images have a sense of mystery attached to them. comprised using only soap bubbles and thread, the simple inorganic material manages to convey wonder and evoke feelings of spontaneity. blurring time and space boundaries by capturing a short-lived moment, the photographs reveal a complex network of perceived scale that informs daily life. the work hopes to bring realization to this dynamic ‘conduction’ in the world that is brimming around us all the time.
