currently on display at the museum of contemporary art sydney is an exhibition of london artist yinka shonibare mbe. the exhibition features works from his 12 year career. shonibare is known for exploring issues of race and class through a range of media that includes sculpture, painting, photography, and installation art. headless mannequins dressed in brightly colored african fabrics have been part of his work since the mid 90’s.
