My scenario is that Becks Beer or any other prestiges Beer have non-twist top caps, that you need a bottle opener to open them. The problem is that when you purchase these Beers and go to a party or function and dont have access to a bottle opener, because the hosts bottle opener has gone missing or even worse they dont have one, which is not uncommon. These non-twist tops are annoying to open and you end up using your keys, the side of the table or any other object that you think might work. So my idea is to design a key like feature to open beer bottles, but needs to be incorporated into the bottle. My concept is a bottle opener that is incorporated into the bottom of the bottle, in which an extruded lip sticks out, so you can place the cap underneath the lip and push downwards opening the bottle. --- back - back to the index page - --- ------- monthly designboom newsletter ------- ------- ? comments and contact us ? ------- | |||
