--- here are few comments 'homelessness is a complex issue encompassing many facets of society; mental illness, addiction, health care, education, political will and, especially in north america, our sense of fairness. in my community homelessness is at the top of the agenda. yet, sadly, in many parts of the world it barely registers as an injustice at all. by supporting this competition I know that designboom can bring together a diverse collection of the brightest creative minds around the world and, in doing so, raise the importance of this issue globally. furthermore, it is important to reflect on the positive impact this competition can make throughout the world and not dwell solely on its impact in our own, sometimes insular, communities.' mark dusseault, canada --- 'you have things and you need to get them from A to B. carrying cargo by bike is a sensible, easy and inexpensive way http://www.tonystrailers.com I have been working on a 'homemobile' and a few saturdays ago we gave it to a homeless fellow . he and several other binners have been using it and it's been drawing rave reviews. the local newspapers and television stations have been doing stories on the cart and its creating quite a stir here. http://www.velovision.co.uk the design is still evolving.
