the questions posed to the participants in the call for entry were;
how will we live? how will we entertain our guests? how will
we keep our homes clean?

from the 3058 submitted designs the jury selected 12 entries.
the designers participated in the electrolux workshop in
stockholm, sweden on november 09 - 13, 2005.
all of these 12 designs were further developed into prototypes
and exhibition was held in stockholm, sweden on november
14 and 15, 2005 during ‘future design days’.

three final winners were chosen during the exhibition:

1. prize ‘air wash’ by
wendy chua and gabriel tan from singapore

2. prize ‘the flavor of sunshine’
qingxiang ou + wenmin liu, jingchang chen, lei zhang,
rui qi, lu song, peng zhou, xiaoyan deng, haifeng liu,
longfei li from china

3. prize ‘happy feet’
sang hoon park + jong hyun kim from south korea
