designer's own words:

One of the objectives I set was to revive the use of Crochet in the daily living. I decided to work with a ceramic material, porcelain, in order to create a different functionality to the crochet.
In the rendezvous' between Crochet and porcelain, nostalgic values, memory and functionality were all integrated.
My idea is to make filtering objects for kitchen use such as tea infusion filter,
The manufacturing includes a process of immersing the handmade knitted Crochet in porcelain and later burning it in a designated ceramic oven using a recipe I developed. After the burning the Crochet is assembled on a plastic, silicon covered handles
