The main purpose of this design is the promotion of environmental and social sustainability at the Brazilian context. In Brazil, the beverage aluminum can recycling system is far more efficient than the plastic package one. In 2006, Brazilians recycled 94.4% of the aluminum cans available in the country. Can recycling also generates employment and income for over 170 thousand people in Brazil, especially for poor communities. The design proposal takes these factors into consideration. The development process was based in analogy with the can. As result, we have a new form of spray device that fits an aluminum can containing the liquid cleaner. It consist a financially viable solution to the Brazilian standards and brings environmental and social benefits.
