thou shalt love thy neighbour

thou shalt love thy neighbour by albrecht marius from switzerland

designer's own words:

"Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself" (3. Moses 19:18 / Matthew> 19:19 ) This/It's a citation out of the Bible. It's one of the most important phrases in the Christian tradition, Jesus himself called it the "highest command". In the Bible this phrase means to simply love your human neighbours. On the poster you see nature personified. That's why the phrase gets a new meaning: Love thy environment. Love the plants and the animals around you.
This isn't a religious message anymore. I just used this phrase because it's widespread in various languages of our world and in different populations affected by Christianity. The phrase is also accepted in the Jewish religion.
