WARP - Water and Air Recycling Pad.

In many cities, urbanism has not correctly answered to the problem of lack of trees or trees have no soil to grow under. It is often to be observed, trees which cannot achieve a sustainable and effective size to recycle the atmosphere and provide humidity, shadow, visual importance, ...

With WARP it is not my intention to replace trees but to have effective air, water, electricity and bio-diesel producing urban-objects where trees are not viable - this includes indoor spaces.

The main goal is to have groups of WARPs connected to a network of water, electricity, communications and to a bio-diesel production craft where seasonally algae are transformed.

The object itself, although it does not pretend to mimetise trees, does try to take lessons from nature. One main structure holds 4 algae aquaria, photovoltaic panels and a water collector; underneath, water filters, pumps, shock absorbers, emergency aquaria, and connectors to the main network are installed. Upper access boxes provide local information about the systems status (a central mainframe will be connected to all WARPs) and lower access boxes will be used to re-charge electricity driven vehicles.
