designboom and DuPont's international design competition theme: DuPont Corian® for a food & coffee bar results ! ---------------------- winning design # 1253 title: fashion space name : elia nedkow sex : male age : 32 city : graz state : austria --- the concept for this public space is inspired by catwalks in fashion show. by multiplicating a sitting area – placed below the walking surface I have created a friendly, intimate space allowing the visitor to explore the art of fashion. the staff is dressed monthly by different leading designers, so the interest of the visitor has been kept aroused. corian provides the perfect environment for achieving a solid, uninterrupted surface and by placing an indirect light under, I have intended a dramatic gas-like setting. ---     ---  back to the competition results index ---  ------- monthly designboom newsletter ------- ------- ? comments and contact us ? -------  |
