designboom and DuPont's international design competition theme: DuPont Corian® for a food & coffee bar results ! -------------------------- top 30 nominations # 2497 title: dodecahedron name : jan aerts sex : male age : 35 city : antwerpen state : belgium --- In search of a new concept for this competition, I happened to see the beauty of a dodecahedron. to my opinion, this solid figure - (already described by archimedes) - is very beautiful as a seamlessly designed piece. It 's mathematical shape can be used as a table, a light, a support, whatever ... due to its construction it can be customized and provided with audio, a beamer application, a little tv-screen, light, .... dodecahedron is an object that gives a city-bar a new futuristic look.
