designer kevin spencer has created a new set of 3D printed designer chairs, modeling the miniatures after some of the most renowned furniture in industrial design history. the set includes a tiny replica of the red blue chair created by gerrit rietveld, the barcelona chair + ottoman by ludwig mies van der rohe and lilly reich, and two eames variations — the classic wooden chair, and lounge chair. the 1.5inch models highlight all the details from the original pieces, such as the three molded plywood shells and leather upholstery for the eames lounge and intersecting supports for the red blue chair. for more of spencer’s work see designboom’s coverage of his first 3D printed eames chair.
