‘shenzhen universiade sports center’ by conceptlicht Gmbh

each year the A’ design award and competition acknowledges the best in design and architecture–from concepts to realized products and services–that cover a number of different categories, including furniture, agriculture, hospitality, air and land transportation, toys and games, recreation equipment, graphic and visual communication… (the full listing of submission categories can be seen here). these are summarized under four major sections: industrial design competitions; graphics design competitions; architecture and interior design awards; and arts and engineering awards, with special sections available for amateurs and students to enter such as the award scholarship, or the design ambassador program.

the aim of the A’ design award and competition is to provide a platform for both practicing professionals, as well as young emerging talents, to put their work forward and gain recognition for their achievements. the organization does so by helping creatives promote their ideas to a broader international audience through advertising campaigns, press release preparation and distribution. in addition, a gala-night is held for the award recipients, accompanied by an exhibition of the year’s standout winning designs.

this year, the A’ design award and competition jury consisted of more than 40 members from all corners of the globe reviewed the numerous entries submitted. see the full listing of A’ design award winners here.
