absoloot is a design company renowned for its outstanding quality in print solutions and paper goods. a collaboration with the jane goodall institute, a global organization committed to the preservation of great apes and wildlife and our environment in general, has allowed them to put their skills and experiences in use to create the ‘extinct animals’ notebooks collection.

the notebooks are available in two different sizes

the series aims to raise public awareness on a very serious environmental issue: animal species at the brink of becoming extinct, thus promoting the protection of our surroundings and the conservation of endangered wildlife. six obsolete creatures grace the olive, kiwi and almond covers: the silky sifaka, the tasmanian tiger, the pashford pot beetle, the saiga antelope, the pyrenean ibex, and the nukupu’u. the works have been crafted using blind deboss and silkscreen printing to enclose olin and favini paper pages. they were envisioned by levente csordás and gergő gilicze and are available in two different sizes: 210×160 and 160×120 mm.

after each notebook sold, the organization receives a 1$ donation, contributing to their efforts in safeguarding species around the world. each piece of the extinct collection help this cause, making it an ideal item for everyone who cares about the environment, wants to make a change, or is just interested in a notebook of outstanding quality.
