made entirely by hand out of borosilicate glass, the ‘anti-fly’ natural bug repellant by eindhoven-based designer josé de la O is influenced by traditional mexican methods for scaring flies away at urban food markets. like plastic bags full of liquid hanging from the ceilings of taco kiosks on the street, the sustainable pesticide amplifies color and movement with water refraction, causing air-bound insects to avoid the transparent sphere, as they have extremely sensitive vision. available in frosted and clear finishes, the organic repellant can be suspended over areas with high insect traffic by a heavy duty leather rope.
