'appunto table' by laurent corio
deploying into a table, 'appunto' by paris-based designer laurent corio aims to ease every-day-life uses inside the bedroom, the bathroom,
the hall or the kitchen. presented at maison et object 2013, the compact folding table is influenced by the image of objects against walls,
integrating functionality - always available at the right time and the right place, for note taking, drawing, or for hanging empty bags.
additionally, the table top and legs are constructed using natural beech, where a transformable blackboard is concealed underneath.
the design draws from our habits of leaning objects against the wall
the subtle notch detail in the wood framework is meant for hanging bags
